Janet Cizek, LPC, LADC, CEO

Janet Cizek, LPC, LADC is the founder and CEO of the Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI) and Community Treatment Integrations OK (CTI-OK). A pioneer in the field of holistic mental health care and substance use treatment, Janet holds a master's degree in Community Counseling and is certified as a Problem Gambling Counselor and a Rostered Child Parent Psychotherapist. She specializes in addiction treatment services, including Specialized Opioid Addiction and Problem Gambling Addiction, as well as Pregnant and Postpartum Substance Use Disorder Services to maintain Family Preservation, Infant Mental Health, Trauma Resolution and Family Focused Recovery. 

 

As a stay at home mom for 10 years, Janet developed a certified home daycare that allowed her to care for children while studying for her degree. After earning her master’s degree, she launched her career at a community mental health center. 

 

In 2005, Janet founded CTI to provide comprehensive and holistic mental health care and substance use disorder treatment services that provide person-centered care with an emphasis on family preservation.  In 2019, with funding shortfalls and an inability for some individuals to access care, she created a nonprofit organization to ensure adequate quality health care services were available to everyone, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. 

 

Janet is deeply passionate about family time and exploring new destinations worldwide, and she is dedicated to improving access to behavioral health care for families. An innovator who is not afraid to break down barriers to serve people, Janet’s dedication and ambition serve as a beacon of hope for many struggling with mental health issues throughout Oklahoma.

Layne Subera, D.O., Medical Director

Layne Evan Subera, DO, MA, FACOFP has served as the Medical Director at CTI since 2019. 

 

Dr. Subera completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also holds a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University, and has earned certifications in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine-FP from the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists of the American Osteopathic Association.

 

His career has been marked by significant leadership and service roles, including serving as the president of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, a hospital chief of staff and as a commissioner for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Oklahoma Opioid Abuse Commission, respectively. Currently, he serves as commissioner for the Oklahoma Health Care Workforce Training Commission, which focuses on enhancing access to health care providers and nurses in rural and underserved areas of Oklahoma. 

 

Since 1998, Dr. Subera has been a private practice physician focused on family and addiction medicine in Skiatook, Oklahoma. His commitment to addressing opioid use disorder is evidenced by his certification in addiction medicine and his previous role as an investigator in the Oklahoma MAT study, which improved patient access to treatment in eastern Oklahoma. 

 

With a keen sense of empathy, Dr. Subera finds immense satisfaction in assisting individuals facing overwhelming obstacles, supporting them in their journey toward recovery. He loves the opportunity to stand up for those who don’t often have a voice. He finds it incredibly rewarding to help people get back on their feet, especially those facing significant challenges. Perhaps the most fulfilling aspect is the chance to save lives, a responsibility and privilege that drives his commitment and passion for what he does every day.

Dustin Bryan, LPC-S, LADC-S, CPGC, Director of Operations

Dustin Bryan LPC-S, LADC-S, CPGC serves as our Director of Operations, Medication Assisted Treatment Program Coordinator and Clinical Therapist. Dustin has a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and specializes in Addiction Treatment, Medication Assisted Treatment, Trauma Treatment and Adolescent Treatment.

 

Dustin joined CTI in 2014 as the Family Treatment Court Coordinator before transitioning to the Medication Assisted Treatment Program Coordinator for CTI’s Opioid Treatment Program. He truly appreciates the opportunity to work with people who share a genuine love for making a positive impact in the lives of others. Supporting CTI's staff and clients is incredibly rewarding for him.

 

In his personal time, Dustin enjoys golfing and woodworking. Above all, he finds great fulfillment in providing assistance to those in need.

Katie Cizek, MS LADC/MH, Family Treatment Court Coordinator & SFP/CFP Agency Coordinator

Katie Cizek, MS LADC/MH serves as the Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI) family treatment court coordinator. With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree from Northeastern State University, Katie is equipped with the skills and expertise to make a significant impact on the lives of families and individuals she serves in family treatment court. She joined CTI in 2010 as a volunteer, then became the officer manager and then a case manager while completing her graduate degree. She has served in her current role since 2020. 

 

As a trained professional in infant mental health and child-parent psychotherapy, Katie is committed to expanding her skill set and is currently pursuing training in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Katie is driven by her passion of working with individuals and families affected by substance use disorders and loves assisting them in working on reunifications and their journey to becoming healthy and happy. 

 

In her free time, Katie enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, along with immersing herself in a good book or movie.

Tara Hurst, MS LPC-S, LADC-S, CPGC, Assistant Clinical Director & Bartlesville Site Supervisor

Tara Hurst MS LPC-S, LADC-S, CPGC, serves as the Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI)  assistant clinical director, the Bartlesville site supervisor and child welfare program coordinator. Tara specializes in addiction, mental health, trauma and gambling addiction treatment. 

 

Tara obtained a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Supervisor, Certified Trauma Focused Behavioral Therapist, Certified Problem Gambling Counselor and is trained in EMDR.

 

Tara joined CTI in 2009 as a master's student and intern. Throughout her time at CTI, she has assisted with a variety of programs that helped her learn and evolve as a therapist. In her first years at CTI, she worked with the felony drug court program before transitioning into the children's program coordinator.  In that role, she worked with children and managed the Strengthening Families and Celebrating Families Programs. For the past four years, Tara has managed and provided support to CTI’s Bartlesville location as the site supervisor. 

 

As the Child Welfare program coordinator, Tara helps ensure healthy communication between the Child Welfare referral source and the CTI team with the clients' needs in mind.  As the assistant clinical director, she assists with supervising team members and ensuring those team members and clients have a healthy environment in which to work and grow. 

 

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys running, hiking, and being with her family. With her natural inclination to help others, Tara is dedicated to ensuring that everyone lives their best lives and fulfills their true potential.

Shelby Pope, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, Lead Medical Provider

Shelby Pope, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, joined the team at the Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI) in the spring of 2023. In addition to earning a doctorate in nursing practice, Shelby is a ACLM Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional. She provides addiction medication, mental health and primary care services as a midlevel provider at CTI, and she is on track to complete her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification in March of 2024. 

 

Shelby gained almost a decade of experience as a registered nurse at St. John Medical Center in the areas of Med-Surg, urgent care, ER and ICU specialties before transitioning to her role as a nurse practitioner. She worked in rural primary care until she was recruited to work for CTI.

 

Shelby states that one of the most rewarding aspects of her job is to witness a patients’ transformative journey towards recovery. She is inspired by the resilience and determination of individuals overcoming addiction. 

 

She enjoys running, cycling and spending time outdoors with her family. Additionally, Shelby participates in volunteer work with CURA, a free medical clinic for uninsured Oklahomans in Sapulpa.

Amanda Replogle, BHCM II, Washington County Drug Court Coordinator

Amanda Replogle, BHCM II, serves as the Bartlesville site manager and Washington County Drug Court Treatment Coordinator. Amanda, who holds a certificate in Behavioral Health Case Management II (BHCM II), a Bachelors of Psychology and a Master's of Divinity, joined CTI in 2019 as a BHCM II and grew into her role as Washington County Drug Court Coordinator and Office Lead. 

 

Her previous experience as a Veterans Representative and Assistant Registrar at Oral Roberts University ignited her passion for assisting others in their personal growth and development. 

 

She finds great purpose in her work at CTI in helping people with trauma, PTSD and moral injury. Knowing she has the ability to positively impact someone's life brings her immense fulfillment. She is especially inspired by witnessing drug court graduates and individuals completing community sentencing reunite with their children. Witnessing the transformation and restoration of confidence in people is undoubtedly one of the highlights of her career.

 

Outside of her professional life, Amanda loves spending time with her dogs and volunteering with organizations that help veterans and deployed service members.

Sandra Ruiz, Agency Administrative Director

Sandra Ruiz serves as the Agency Administrative Director for the Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI).

She holds a certificate in Behavioral Health Case Management I and community interpreting. In addition to helping CTI’s daily operations run smoothly,  Sandra’s ability to serve as an interpreter plays an instrumental role in helping CTI serve a diverse population of clients. 

 

In her free time, Sandra enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading and giving back to her Hispanic community. She finds great satisfaction in knowing that CTI is changing how people perceive addiction and that there are always brighter possibilities for everyone.
